You can send each of your connections a single letter per day. The limit is deliberate. It makes you choose your words, and it makes theirs worth waiting for.

Just a Letter is available worldwide, except France for now. France requires an official approval for apps that use encryption (ANSSI), and we are still waiting for it. As soon as it comes through, France is added.
