What Just a Letter does for free and what Premium adds. The numbers on this page come from the same settings the app uses to set its limits, so they're always current.
Your letterbox holds every letter you have ever received. It is always complete and free.
The letter history shows your letters as one ongoing conversation, sent and received alike. For free you can read the last 30 days there, older days with Premium. Nothing is deleted: with Premium the whole history is visible again.
For free you can have 3 letters translated to get to know the feature. That allowance is one-off and doesn't refill.
With Premium you get 100 translations per calendar month. New ones arrive at the start of each month; unused ones don't carry over.
A translation you've already fetched can be shown again on the same device without using up another one.

To translate a letter, its text is sent to DeepL. What happens to the text there is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Premium is a monthly subscription you take out in the app through the App Store or Google Play. You'll see the price in your currency, and whether a free trial is currently on offer, right before you buy.
The subscription renews automatically for one month at a time until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account. Premium then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Purchase and billing are handled by the respective store, which also sends you the receipt.
If you have 3 connections, you choose which 2 to keep the next time you open the app. If you haven't chosen within 14 days, the oldest ones are kept. A connection that ends stays readable as a closed chapter.
Letters you have already sent stay exactly as they are, with their paper, their polaroids and their stickers.
